Check out this great work by Justin and Ismael. The audio track is called "Justin the Great," and he just finished it tonight using Garageband. He's a pro at this software, and he taught me lots of new shortcuts and tips in just one session.
We paired Justin's song with a crazy ninja Styx animation made earlier in the term by Ismael. I really love Ismael's use of bright colors in the video and I think it works really well with Justin's electric vibes.
Tonight at the clubhouse, Frankie and I learned how to make 3D images in Photoshop. Frankie started work on a wacky and abstract 3D comic strip about Chickens. When we were done working for the night, we made this 3D picture of ourselves.
If you have 3D glasses, pop em on to get the full effect:
With the help of our mentor Jeff, Clubhousers made light drawing with slow shutter speed cameras today, making stencils and learning the fundamentals of light and imagery.
For one of our year end projects, GSS' Computer Clubhouse is making a giant 6 foot by 6 foot digital mural. We've broken up a huge image of a tree into 36 pieces, and are having our photo-shoppers design each piece.
Below, Sayeed adds some vintage basketball players in the petals and changes the background color.
For this week's theme, "Peace", Lavender decided to make a video about bullying and ways to prevent it. This was her first attempt at iMovie, and she patiently edited and added music like a pro.
Khalil just put together a 398 frame Stykz project, and we just finished adding sound effects and music. Dude has a future in animation and game design, in my opinion
